Charles F. Bellomy is an accomplished litigator with more than twenty years of experience representing a variety of clients across numerous practice areas and industries. He has successfully litigated claims in both state and federal courts and before various administrative agencies. Charles is an experienced trial attorney and has obtained many favorable trial verdicts for his clients. In addition to successful trial resolutions, he has favorably resolved many cases through mediation, arbitration, and direct negotiation with the opposing party.

Charles’s practice at Calwell Luce diTrapano focuses on all types of personal injury litigation. Prior to joining the firm, his litigation experience included a broad range of civil matters such as personal injury; professional malpractice; commercial contract rights; employer liability under state and federal law for discrimination, harassment, and wrongful termination; class action product liability claims; class action claims for breach of natural resource contracts; claims arising from land use; mineral and real property rights; insurance coverage; and property damage.

Charles graduated cum laude from West Virginia University with dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in philosophy and economics. He is a cum laude graduate of the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill School of Law, where he was a member of the National Moot Court Team and recipient of the Gressman-Pollitt Award for excellence in oral advocacy.

Charles is a native of Ceredo, West Virginia, and now resides in Huntington with his twin daughters, Gabriella and Isabella.
